Love to run? With the help of experienced coaches, students will gain confidence and self esteem through a running program designed to build them up, while learning proper form and technique for running cross country. 6th grade may ride the bus to the Elementary School.

School Year Dance Classes

All Volleyball in one place! 3-4 grades learn fundamentals and have some fun! 5-6th grades play in the South Central Youth Volleyball League. Games start September 6. Practices start the week of August 11 but schedule will be made by the coaches and gym availability.

One location for all youth basketball at LCWM! K-3 grades is run by Varsity coaches and players and will teach basics! 4th-6th grades plays in the South Central Youth Basketball League. Games are on Saturdays, starting in December. Practices will be decided by the coaches and facility availability.

This course is designed to prepare the first-time driving student with the information and knowledge required to pass the Minnesota Driver’s permit test and the Minnesota Class D Driver’s license test. This class requires the student to complete 30 hours of classroom instruction. These hours are mandated by law if a student under the age of 18 is to acquire a Driver's Permit or License.

Mrs. Lawver is coming back to teach art classes for her 11th year! We're so lucky to have such an amazing teacher. All art classes are from 3 pm to 4 pm, and open to Kindergarten to 5th Grade.

Some no school days, we'll take a field trip!

Storybook Theater is coming to LCWM this fall! We're requesting registration, but it's free to attend. Practices are all week with shows on Friday and Saturday of the same week.

Learn wrestling skills and compete in surrounding tournaments. This is a great opportunity to work with the Knights wrestling coaches! Attending the Parent Meeting is required. Please see flyer for date.

Ski & Snowboard club was such a hit, we're doing it again! Every week we take a bus to Mount Kato to spend the evening on the hill. The bus will pick up from the Secondary School at 3:30 pm and bring us to the hill. Parents and community members are welcome to meet us there and join in on the fun and cheap ticket options. Staff will help get kids set with their equipment and on the hill. Staff supervision ends at 6:30 pm, but kids 10 and over are allowed to stay later if a parent choses. Kids under 10 need to be picked up by or before 6:30 pm. Price Options:$10-Bus. This is for kids that have season tickets and their own equipment and will ride the bus from school with us.$20-Either Ticket or Rental. If you have a season pass but need a rental, or have equipment but need a ticket. Includes bus for students.$30-Ticket & Rental. For those that need equipment and rental from Mount Kato. Also includes bus for students Age Requirements:Third grade and up to attend by themselves.First grade and up to attend with an older sibling that is also attendingKindergarten and up to attend with a parent that is also attending. Dates at the beginning and end of the season are tentative, based on hill and snow condition. If the hill is open, we plan to go. If the windchill or temp is less than -10 degrees, we may cancel due to weather. If school is closed or cancelled, Ski & Snowboard club is also cancelled. There is a snack bar in the chalet. Community Ed staff is not responsible for any money or things that are sent with the kids.
