Driver's EducationDriver's EducationThis course is designed to prepare the first-time driving student with the information and knowledge required to pass the Minnesota Driver’s permit test and the Minnesota Class D Driver’s license test. This class requires the student to complete 30 hours of classroom instruction. First Annual Kickball TournamentSportsJoin us for our first Kickball Tournament! We want between 8-10 people per team, and must be co-ed. Kids 8 and older may join teams as well. Get your family, friends or co-workers together to make a team! You can register your whole team together, or if you want to join an existing team, pick your favorite color!If there are half full teams, we may combine. If teams fill up, we'll open more team color options.Team shirts will be provided for game day. Every team will be guaranteed at least 3 games through the course of the day. Holiday Cookies Bake & TakeCommunity Ed Adult ProgramsIn this teen/adults, hands-on class you will be working in pairs. You’ll be provided with ingredients, the recipe for the dough and everything you need to form, trim, and decorate the cookies. Bring your own apron if you like. And most important, don’t forget to bring containers to carry home your six dozen treats. We are sorry, we cannot accommodate peanut allergies in this class.LCWM CE Fall 2026 -
Ski & Snowboard ClubSportsSki & Snowboard club was such a hit, we're doing it again! Every week we take a bus to Mount Kato to spend the evening on the hill. The bus will pick up from the Secondary School at 3:30 pm and bring us to Mount Kato. Parents and community members are welcome to meet us there and join in on the fun and cheap ticket options. Staff will help get kids set with their equipment and on the hill. Staff supervision ends at 6:30 pm, but kids 10 and over are allowed to stay later if a parent choses. Kids under 10 need to be picked up by or before 6:30 pm. Price Options: (Bus Prices TBD based on Mount Kato prices)$-Bus. This is for kids that have season tickets and their own equipment and will ride the bus from school with us.$-Either Ticket or Rental. If you have a season pass but need a rental, or have equipment but need a ticket. Includes bus for students.$-Ticket & Rental. For those that need equipment and rental from Mount Kato. Also includes bus for students. Age Requirements:Third grade and up to attend by themselves.First grade and up to attend with an older sibling that can help them.Kindergarten and up to attend with a parent that will ski with them. Dates at the beginning and end of the season are tentative, based on hill and snow condition. If the hill is open, we plan to go. If the windchill or temp is less than -10 degrees, we may cancel due to weather. If school is closed or cancelled, Ski & Snowboard club is also cancelled. There is a snack bar in the chalet. Youth BasketballSportsOne location for all youth basketball at LCWM! K-3 grades is run by Varsity coaches and players and will teach basics! 4th-6th grades plays in the South Central Youth Basketball League. Games are on Saturdays, starting in December.
